Napkins to match your kitchen

With such a dizzying choice of textiles on the market, it can be hard to know where to start when looking for new napkins. I designed ths little collection of Stripeys to pair with some of my favourite kitchens.

These come in three colourways: Navy and gold, Green and pink, Green and blue.

This Christmas, my Mum gave me my beautiful silver napkin ring that is engraved with my name. Growing up, everyone in the family had their own napkin ring and napkins were washed only when needed. In the meantime you used your linen napkin as required and rolled it back up into it’s napkin ring for the next meal. My parents generation grew up just after the second world war where sustainability and frugality were the normal.

Now with our new normal heading back to sustainable roots and foregoing disposable paper napkins for reusable and long lasting beautiful cloth napkins, it is important to choose patterns and colours that you will continue to love.

The designs on these napkins draw inspiration from painted kitchens, such as deVol or Neptune, where the colours are bold and exquisitely matched.
